Top: I'm not sure whether someone just told this guy they didn't like his pink earmuffs, hair tuft, fake bake, or his outdated blue pinstripe shirt. Whatever it was, he was predictably aghast. Some days I feel colorful.

Top: Finally, after 10 days of serving as Gabi's personal chauffeur, she drove off in her new red 2009 Honda Civic. Sweet ride.

The only drawback to getting the 'roids at home is that my arm looks like this for 2 days. Oh well, it's worth it!

I'm letting myself off the hook a smidge today with a couple of drawings I did sometime in December. The concept was an old man who wasn't rich but pretended to be so he could have a trophy wife, coupled with a young woman who wasn't dumb but pretended to be so that she could reap the cash from being said trophy wife.

And now, in keeping with the theme, we can hum "Adam Raised a Cain" to ourselves. Just don't ask me to assign the roles of Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, Seth, or Lilith to any of these goombas. I think that with the perception of an existent goatee on this one, we might have a hint of gender creeping in...

Added into the mix now will be one photograph every day. Just another piece of the project to make me feel like I'm doing something.

In church this morning, Mike talked about Adam and Eve and the origin of community. Perhaps this subliminally influenced me to create a "helper suitable" for the drawing from 2 days ago. I think I have a legitimate comic brewing...
